It made $7, 500 for charity. I didnt make money on it but I was happy to donate.
I go to the Met all the time. I like to take photos of details of paintings so I can learn more technique.
I recently painted this for Mariano for his charity. It led to two more paintings and a large glass carving I shall post shortly. I was not paid but it was great press a good cause and he is a great guy.
