glass portrait
Here is a glass etching of Hillary Clinton. It is not an endorsement nor is it political. It was an effort on my behalf to nail down a likeness in glass which is akin to trying to pick up pennies with boxing gloves on. Only a skilled hand can pull off such a feat, painting portraits is a cake walk compared to etching a likeness in glass. You will get a signed print (8.5" X 11") for ten dollars. (not the original glass piece.) If you want the original piece (16" x 20") contact me via email. Serious inquiries only!

Gardega in Page Six
EGG ON THEIR FACES? NO, IT'S THEIR FACES ON EGGS IS it the ultimate tribute, or a bad yolk, that an artist is painting the portraits of all the Fox News Channel stars on grade-A farm eggs? Painter Alex Gardega says: "I have finished, and delivered, Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade and I am working on Ann Coulter as well as Judge Napolitano ... My hero is Salvador Dali, and we both share an egg obsession, but he never did egg portraits ... My best egg portrait was Bill O'Reilly until I dropped him on his head. So I am repainting him."

THAT friends of Radar editor Maer Roshan were surprised to see him described as 35 in yesterday's Times, especially those who remember working with him at Details 20 years ago. "I don't know where they got that," Roshan told us. "I'm 37" . . . THAT Alex Gardega has kicked up some controversy with his painting of the Statue of Liberty on the cover of the Yellow Pages. "She looks so angry," Gardega says. "My view is, wouldn't you be a bit angry after 9/11?" . . . THAT Maria Shriver said on "Oprah" if the kids leave their clothes or shoes on the floor, hubby Gov. Schwarzenegger, throws them in the fire.
