I read the New York Post today. The New York Post is part of my morning religion. It is like an old friend. Sometimes they even put my art in the rag, this is why I am a big fan. Today I read a story about Guy named Donald Longueuil. Donald is now a statistic another rich kid with everything going for him in this world who is now one step away from "The big house" In three weeks he was set to marry a beautiful NYC blueblood and instaed it looks like he will have to settle for a cell with bubba. He is now the focus of an insider trading probe and it doesnt look good. There is strange talk of ripping hard drives out of computers and dumping them in garbage trucks at 2AM..There were wire taps and rats and enough evidence to bust Donald and his trading partner Samir Barai for decades. The party is now over, there is a bride without a groom and in the wink of a devil's eye the house of cards has fallen. There is only the hangover now, that and the courts and the feds and eventually jail. For some people Greed is a drug and they cant get enough---it is like those films you saw in high school of a monkey who keeps pushing the button that gives him more cocaine until he dies. Most rich kids amount to doodly squat and if they didnt have trust funds they would not be hirable as a bartender in a TGIF. Some rich kids make their lives into something great in spite of privilege and some rich kids wind up in insider trading scams that can put them away for 20 years in a dank hole somewhere in a Federal Pen. I dont understand the point of risking it all to get even richer--when is enough enough..I am sure this kid is having second thoughts right about now But it is too late, the Devil has come around with your number and he has a contract you signed. Ill stick to making paintings and my small studio apt. thank you very much...I sleep fine at night.
"shred as much as you can" Im thinking this email is probably not something that is going to look good in court.
The party is over, the hangover begins and it will be a long one...
