Deadline

I have been slacking on the ole blog lately. Deadlines and other matters dragging me in many directions. I am back into the paint which is nice! I just finished a decent Deluge painting (part of my series) that is 4 x 5 foot. It has a certain harmony..I walked around it (the canvas) for a month before I hit it. Then it was a matter of two days. Sometimes it is harder to find harmony in a simple painting than a detailed labored work.

I went to my cemetery jobsite today in queens at 6:30 to see how the light fell on my glass windows...

Summer

Summer came and went, my body still pale..no beach, no vaca, just hard painting and glass art deadlines...tis what I love, this art thing, ill suufer for it if needed...

Im off to paint a ceiling mural today..will photo..bad neck, not excited but I am gardega and he is a boxer and a fighter. Lots of great stuff going on, first full weekend off in year and half this weekend...not sure brain can handle that. Random street photo...from nyc

New mural to paint...attached is the room, a home theater...I have to paint the ceiling and 7 side panels..another ceiling, this time im laying on back...not standing.

I installed my holy family etching yesterday...it was hairy...10 feet up on a scaffold with heavy piece of glass art that to fit into a space that was only a quarter inch larger than glass...it is installed...had no time to photo, will do so soon.

911, hard to believe its been ten years. I was day bartending in nyc on 911. Will never forget it, my first day bartending, had no idea what I was doing...served 500 people....god bless those who lost family...

Been knee deep on glass just etched a holy family etching five foot By five foot...install today...boy that was a tough one to finish...

Running

I took a break from this blog thing and have started running again....now I shall start entertaining my world audience again with my staggering mental aerobatics
