studies for St Joseph windows

Here is the finished "roughs" I will etch in glass for a mausoleum. I would like to start and get paid a deposit and get out of the "in between" stage of projects I hate that stage, My ADD needs to stay busy or I start chewing on formica.

Lola--in progress

This is one of the greatest dogs I have ever known---LOLA! She was my exes--- I miss the dog. I decided to paint a memory of her for my wall..Her name was Lola, she was a trip. I think this would be a good childrens book cover/ idea..I have the idea already, one day I will write it..I am not trying to paint a museum piece here, just a happy picture of a good dog.

ballet

I am doing some set/ prop design for my sisters ballet that is coming up. I am getting back into doing some ballet images. I would never really consider ballet if Degas hadnt done them as I like to make much darker art. Degas took the frills out of ballet and stripped it down to human elements. Plus I sold a lot of my ballet pieces which isnt a terrible thing..As long as I am not painting pet portraits and my pencil is moving alex is happy.

I am going to paint an exact copy of this soon. I painted one as a teen. It is in the met so I can paint on site after I get permission.
