Working on book cover of Westchester County will document the process...Then I start a 4 x 6 canvas commission which I will also document..The large commission is a copy of the painting on this website (the Cow skull) One thing I dont like about art is the prep work side but I have learned how important doing the right prep is....

the boxer

I am a boxer..a full on street fighter of art...if I get knocked down I am back in the ring in 20 minutes with stitches. Now I shall start my Shanghai show! I just went through 1,000 of my old paintings to figure out where I am going...I have lost more paintings than most artists paint in a life....I am going to rip this shanghai show to pieces...The gloves are on baby..lets roll.....another six months of 14 hour days seven days a week...thats why I am GARDEGA, I dont talk about art in cafes, I make art in the ring. time to work and quit whining.

The eye of texas

I have been commisioned to paint a painting for a restaurant...I have no idea why restaurants always want my work...I dont even paint food!..I am going to video tape the entire process on this one and post it. The restaurant wants a copy of a painting I made that willie nelson now owns called "the eyes of texas" I will buy canvas today

back to work

Burying a parent is something so surreal and hard that I have no words to explain...Now, I will do my best to get my butt into gear and work again..Feel like mike tyson hit me in the head with a toyota. Havent even been able to eat or paint....I am a fighter so I will get back in the ring now. I look like ten miles of bad texas road but I will now shave and shower be the rock star champion that gardega once was and quit crying like a little girl...man up or go home...
