About five years ago I was hired to make a glass carving for a financial firm in the city. The subject was Sentinel Mountain in South Africa. It was a difficult task but the end result worked. I spent a lot of time drawing the mountain from photos and became interested in it's shape. I decided to re-visit my past and continue some studies of the mountain. This mountain is brilliant in its shape and is worthy of some serious study in watercolor and oils.
