my favorite things

Here is a short list of my favorite things...I think it is good to make a list of your favorite things as it gives you an appreciation of life:

1) Museums... I can spend a week in a good museum and never get bored.

2) New art supplies: a bagful of new art supplies for me is like a crack addict with a full pocket.

3) The twilight zone: I am a twilight zone junkie, I spend every new years day watching the marathon for 24 hours.

4) good wine: I like a good red wine, a Cabernet with a full and complex body... I like a good red wine with a steak.

5) Travel: my dilemma in life has always been this, either I am too busy and working too hard to travel or I am too broke..But when I am walking around a foreign country I am a happy man.

6) cooking: I like to cook but I am bad at it--I do make a mean french toast, though.


7) Beautiful women: all artists like beautiful women. They drive your art and you paint them and try to understand them but you never will. You will have better luck understanding quantum physics.

8) The New York Post: I am a New York Post Junkie. I read it everyday and I never miss a day. I am also a page six junkie. I especially like page six when I am in it...then it is really worth reading.


9) Stupid and slow people: I like dumb and slow people. I like when they wont let me walk up escalators because they are too dumb to stand to the right. I like these people.
