A friend of mine was in Iraq and he logged into my blog and watched my video of me sitting in the snow in front of my last supper painting. He said it changed his outlook and made him feel positive and he carried that feeling with him on a mission they had to do the next day. This is why I make art, this is why I fight a battle that I can barely stomach half the time.
