waitcation

most people take vacations. I take waitcations, I start to plan one and then I get a big job in and as someone who has known dire poverty I cannot sooner turn down a job than I can sit through a full episode of housewives of new jersey. Hard times change an artist, they sharpen the blade and lessing the tolerance for fools and liars to a level just above absolute zero. My vacations come in squares and rectangles on which I bleed out my turmoil and battle anges and demons and when it is right it is better than sunset in keywest. When it is wrong it is a level of hell I wouldnt wish on michael vick. Artists, good ones, honest ones are willing to have 12 years of utter hell for one year of napoleonic glory. Rational people call this a fools game my heart calls it the only game. Ill get away one of these days..when my phone stops ringing.
