georgia okeefe

I just finished a book on georgia okeefe. I never cared for her workk and I wouldnt have read the book if it didnt fall in front of me. I will say this, she was a fascinating person and maybe brilliant. She had the ego and vision and drive that are the holy trinity of survival for an artist. She put art before all else yet she wantedno part of anyone labeling her...portrait of an artist, great book. I still dont love her art. but her spirit was great.
