A season in hell

I pretty much consider my last year a season in hell. A lot of trials and tribulations and way too many nights alone with my paintings and the Hudson river. In hind site it was not without its breakthroughs and I will suffer much to make my breakthroughs--the bastards dont come easy--they want a pound of flesh and then some. AS you get a bit older and mature you tend to want some stabilization and a bit less chaos...maybe a relationship outside the canvas. All my chips have been in for many years and I wouldnt do it any other way...You dont make art with one toe in the water--you jump in a learn to swim--or die.
