Interview series: interview with myself

Gardega: what is your favorite thing in this world.

Gardega: there are a lot of such things. I Iike clean socks, beautiful women with classical faces like a leonardo angel, I like french toast, snow, good red wine, the beach,  Learning---above all I love to learn, I like to learn about anything, the solar system, the brain, natural science, cooking, etc. I like biographies of famous writers I like chess and then I like to draw and paint. I dont like making glass art is is too hard and stressful.

Gardega: what is your IQ?

Gardega: depends on the room temp.

Gardega: Who is your favorite writer--Twain, hemingway, Hunter s thompson, vonnegut, and conrad.

Gardega: what do you really hate?

Gardega: stupidity in all its forms and also tourist zombies who make me not be able to walk down the street

Gardega: what do you do on your days off?

Gardega:I dont have days off. I work like a slave building the pyramids.

Gardega: what fascinates you most?

Gardega: the fact that our modern culture has turned into a cesspool. this is most fascinating. That and the fact that the universe is really holographic, that is something to swallow.

Gardega: What is the future of computing?

Gardega: all memory in the future will be stored using light and holograms, all reality in a grain of sand and eternity in an hour as blake said.

Gardega: any regrets?

Gardega: I should have been a lawyer, a trial lawyer handling fake injury cases. I would retire at 40 and paint watercolors on an island. Art is a tough game, not for the weak.

Gardega: what do you think of modern art

Gardega: I dont.

Gardega: who was the greatest artist of all time

Gardega: probably some poor kid in ancient Sumeria who
had no resources, no training and died alone because he had to work on the family farm to survive--poverty will suck the wheels off of an artist faster than you whistle dixie. Most artists cant fight the good battle and wind up dead or on drugs--after him, Raphael, I would take one single doodle by raphael over all the art combined in the 20th century.

Gardega: favorite quote?

Gardega: "I would never belong to a coutnry club that would have me" and "yes we have no bananas."

Gardega: Do you have any artists friends? very few, maybe five. I see them once a year. I am a recluse.

Gardega: what is your philosphy in life?

Gardega: Stay away from people with negative energy-- They will vampire you down and never date someone to fill empty space. If you cant fill that empty space in life yourself then you will be the vampire sucking the life from the person you are with. Also, never lose your sense of humor--it is like virginity--it dont come back when gone. I laugh at everything, even funerals or a girl telling me she loves someone else. I have a very black sense of humor that keeps me sane. or semi sane.

Gardega: any last words?

Gardega: yes and no.
