for granted

What we take for granted:

Hot water

Running water

Heat

Warm beds

all the food we need

These things can all leave us in the wink of a devil's eye.  I was once a young a starving artist so I did without many of the above. If you ever do without, you never forget it. You always appreciate what you have.
