how to paint the statue of liberty: by gardega
Firstly, you need to keep a neat work area--Mine starts neat and spirals into an earthquake zone after a few hours. I use Strathmore board for illustration..best surface there is. I trust no other. I no longer use gesso on it. I found it works better without. Also, never put anything on your table you arent using, not a cell phone a soda--NOTHING. Here I have my new paints--acrylics are to be used for illustration and murals..never for fine art! except sometimes. I have new brushes and pencils and I am ready to rock the lady liberty.

1) be thorough 2) get a momentum going 3) STAY FOCUSED! LOSE FOCUS, LOSE MOMENTUM. Ask yourself what you should be thinking about right now ...
