The Geometry of N.C. WYETH: by gardega
Using my own method of perfect Geometry I have taken a great work by one of my art heroes (NC WYETH) Geometry is like the VCR of fine art...It is a lost art, Modern artists know about as much about geometry as Justin Beiber knows about the blues. Without Geometry in art you have slipshod and substandard work. Without Geometry you have soup from a can. You have Old socks in need of changing and you have all the beauty of forgotten food left on a plate while you went on vacation to the islands. Without sacred geometry you would have none of Leonardos works, none of Raphaels works and you would be left with jasper johns and other such nonsense. Without the dark at the bottom of this painting it wouldnt sing the same as it does..Notice How NC unifies his darks (blur your eyes) Never ever ever make your horizon line dead center on a canvas..make it 2/3 3/4 or 1/4 never cut a canvas right in half. NC wyeth and howard pyle to me are better than all the artists of the 60's and 70's and 80's combined...except for maybe Dali. Dali was a polymath. Polymaths are rare birds.

1) be thorough 2) get a momentum going 3) STAY FOCUSED! LOSE FOCUS, LOSE MOMENTUM. Ask yourself what you should be thinking about right now ...
