Government funding for the arts

What does alex think about the government funding the arts?..screw it, I want no money from the gov.----- Gov. art smells like the DMV and looks like the post office. Art comes from the flight of freedom against all odds not from some gov. giving you free money..find your own patrons ...all progress depends on the artist fighting his fight alone, that is how you grow, that is why rich kids cant paint.
