Monika study : by gardega

Here is my sketch / color study for my first painting of my Twelve Women series. I am working out some kinks and I have a lot of work to do. This piece wants to be large, at least life size. This is a lot of work, I rented the dress, bought the antique doll, paid a photographer. I put this off for a year but now the grapes are ripe to make wine.  Just a study I worked out today...alexo
