As a kid I drew lots of scary pictures and lots of really nice pictures. My Mom never seemed to like me painting scary ones but we live in scary times and I sometimes paint the horrors of modern life..The idea of the expulsion is a very common theme in art that has scared me since childhood. They ate of the tempting fruit and were ex pulsed from the garden---- I am not sure what the symbolism really means. In my work it is the idea of leaving the garden of sanity and losing the reigns and slipping into madness. I dont think I will ever go crazy because I find humor in everything. (If I didnt life would be pretty grey.) I even laugh when I have serious setbacks. Black humor is a coping skill. I often wonder what people feel like when they start to "lose it" is it like being permanently in DMV? It is for sale.
