I went to an art opening at the national arts club last night, it was supposedly a show of 30 portraits in 30 days. Aint no way in the devil's hell those portraits were all painted in 30 days. I know painting like a drunk knows the bottle (which I also know) but regardless, I give any artist credit who works hard paints hard and finishes works. God bless hard work. I live for the national arts club, it is my favorite place outside The Met. The only question I have is how does god expect me to work today with a hangover?
