when I paint my lost souls I kind of paint in circles, there is no real method except for some interaction between the linseed oil and turpentine. If you are painting other worldly visions I think you need to let the painting work with you. I dont see the purpose in being a retentive doodler for these works. They have to flow and grow organically on their own.
