one of my favorite artists is alphonse Mucha, he was an amazing draftsman and designer. in his later life he devoted all his efforts to the "slav epics" here is one of those pieces. I love this painting. The light is brilliant. If you think of him and goya there could not be to more polar opposite artists. I prefer goya but I like this later work of mucha. I am not even sure about the history of the slavs but I dont care-the art stands strong.
