Now I have almost finished this drawing..It is roughly one quarter scale. After it is done I may do one more or at the very least I will ink this one to make sure all the lines are defined. In glass the lines must be defined, not vague, or fuzzy...no fudge room in glass. I need to adjust the figures a bit especially saint joseph. Dont be afraid to start with a skeleton structure. If you know anatomy, a skeleton is a good way to get figure to pose. IN this particular medium (glass) and style there is an acceptable level of stiffness as it relates a bit to gothic art or pre-renaissance, methinks.
I am under major deadlines but it doesnt pay to stress, stress makes mistakes. Put your head down and focus. It reminds me of the story of the monk who fell of a cliff chased by a lion so he was hanging by a branch below the cliff. As he was hanging there he notice a strawberry and picked it and ate it..what else can you do..It doesnt pay to worry holes into your stomach. I used to do that.
